Reviews: The 11th edition of the "diWine Jazz Festival" takes place in Cilento.

Signature music and local flavors once again merge in Montecorice, in the province of Salerno, in the heart of Cilento, with the 11th edition of the Montecorice diWine Jazz Festival. This event for lovers of jazz and quality food and wine will enliven the charming Piazzetta San Biagio on the evenings of August 20th and 21st. Admission is free. Organized by the Municipality of Montecorice in collaboration with the AIS Campania, Cilento and Vallo di Diano delegation, the festival confirms its winning formula: a multisensory experience where the sounds of jazz meet the aromas and flavors of Cilento wine, in an elegant and engaging atmosphere. The festival will kick off on Tuesday, August 20th at 9:15 PM with the eagerly awaited concert by Walter Ricci and his Naples Jazz project. Following the viral success of the song "Uè" (over 4 million views on social media) and the recently unreleased "Tarantella Jazz," Ricci will perform his latest album, released last May, live. This album blends the melodies of 1940s American jazz with the theatricality and rhythm of Neapolitan tradition, creating an original dialogue between New Orleans and Naples. At 10:15 PM, the evening will continue with a top-notch quintet: Alfonso Deidda on saxophone, Marcello Tonolo on piano, Domenico Santaniello on double bass, Adam Pache on drums, and the intense voice of Rosa Emilia Dias. The ensemble will lead the audience on a refined journey through jazz standards, original compositions, and sophisticated atmospheres, thanks to the chemistry between these internationally renowned musicians. Wednesday, August 21st, will open with a moving tribute to Lucio Dalla by Pippo Matino and Silvia Barba's Bassvoice Project. The concert, titled DALLAltraParteDellaLuna (From the Other Part of the Moon), will begin at 9:15 PM and offer a personal and delicate reinterpretation of some of the Bolognese singer-songwriter's most famous songs. Matino's electric bass, among the most appreciated in Europe, and Barba's minimalist voice will create a poetic, intense, and creative tribute. Closing the festival at 10:15 PM will be the energy of the All Stars Quartet, featuring Marco Guidolotti (baritone sax and clarinet), Francesco Nastro (piano), Luca Bulgarelli (double bass), and Pietro Iodice (drums). This exceptional quartet combines original pieces with famous jazz standards, creating an elegant and engaging interplay. "The Montecorice diWine Jazz Festival," declared Annibale Catania, head of the Municipality's Tourism Promotion Office, "represents a perfect combination of quality music, promotion of the local area, and the appreciation of our food and wine excellence." Two unmissable evenings featuring great jazz performers, tributes to Italian music, and authentic Cilento flavors.
